Fall Mini Sessions in Houston Texas are back this year by popular demand! These easy and efficient fifteen minute mini sessions will help your family get updated portraits for a fraction of the time and investment! Many families opt for Christmas or Fall Mini Sessions when looking to update their portraits, because they are so easy and fun! Mossy trees are so gorgeous and a very popular choice by my clients for their photo location. But is a mini session the right option for you and your family? Here are some of my most asked mini session questions to help you decide!

Is a 15-minute mini session enough time to capture everything we need?

Absolutely it is! In fifteen-minutes I follow a strategic workflow which ensures that you receive a gallery full of quality moments and a variety of poses. I always aim to capture:

-A Family group shot

-Mom with Kids

-Dad with Kids

-Kids together

-Individual portraits of each child

-Mom & Dad

What Happens If The Weather Doesn’t Cooperate for our Houston Fall Mini Session?

As you probably know as a fellow Texan, weather can be a little tricky! If the forecast shows a chance of rain equal to or greater than 30% at the time of our session, 24 hours beforehand, I will personally reach out to each of my clients individually to communicate a new reschedule date. If you are unable to make the reschedule date, I will do my best to accomodate you and your family so that we can still achieve a beautiful mossy tree session for Fall.

Can I Bring Our Family Pet? (Dog or Cat Etc.)

While I LOVE meeting your furry friends, I do ask that they stay at home for mini sessions. This is simply due to the fact that because we will be working quickly to achieve great results for your gallery, pets often don’t get the time they need to warm up fully and be their best selves. HOWEVER, I do welcome them to join us for full sessions! If you would prefer to book a full session so that we can incorporate your fluffy family member, I would be thrilled to chat with you!

When Can I Expect My Gallery?

You will receive a sneak peek of your mossy tree mini session gallery within one week and your full gallery within two weeks! Mini sessions include 5-images of your choice and you’ll also have the option to purchase additional images from your gallery if you would like.

What Should We Wear To a Mini Photo Session?

I will give you a brand new Client Experience Guide specific to Fall or Christmas Mini Sessions depending on which you booked. This will thoroughly explain how to dress each family member for best results in your final gallery! To sum it up, I love dressing a little more formally than usual. Try not to be too matchy-matchy.. combining different solids, and one or two complimenting patterns works great! If you would like any specific links, I can absolutely help with outfit planning!
