Twirls, Window Gazing, and a Baby on the Way: A Maternity Session at The Oak Atelier 🌿

As a Conroe Maternity Photographer, I have the joy of documenting some of life’s sweetest transitions—and this session at The Oak Atelier’s Willow Glass House was exactly that.

This growing family of three is eagerly awaiting baby number two, and big sister could not be more excited. From the moment she stepped into the dreamy glass house tucked inside the woods of Conroe, she was twirling, peeking through windows, and asking if any deer might be nearby. (We looked!)

What I love about including the whole family in maternity sessions is the freedom it brings. When big sister needed a quick snack break, we didn’t miss a beat. We simply shifted focus to mama and captured some truly intimate, quiet moments—her hands on her beautiful bump, the soft light dancing through the glass, the calm before this next chapter begins.

After soaking in the warmth and whimsy of the Willow Glass House, we ventured into the woods behind the studio. The light filtered perfectly through the trees, and this sweet family walked, cuddled, and soaked up a few last quiet moments before becoming four.

Maternity sessions like this one aren’t just about documenting a pregnancy—they’re about freezing time in that sacred in-between. The wonder. The waiting. The love that’s already here.
