Best Studio in Houston for a Lifestyle Newborn Session

What makes a great newborn session studio?

So what makes these studios my top favorites? To break it down simply they make taking photos a snap (see what I did there?) Because of their: 1. Lighting. 2. Paint color. 3. Furniture offerings. And 4. Overall appeal and vibe. All of these elements are VITAL to create creamy beautiful skin tones in photographs, and flattering images overall.

The Oak Atelier

One of my all time favorite locations in the Houston area is The Oak Atelier. This stunning location features indoor rooms, an outdoor glass house, OR their brand new Rosewood Atelier studio! They also offer a white bed to create a home-y environment. We captured this sweet newborn session recently and I am still obsessed with how it turned out!

Sween Shots Studio

Next, we have Sween Shots Studio. These cozy, mid-century mod studio features a kitchen set up, living area with sofas, and a vanity. This studio is perfect for creating very organic, home-y feeling photos without the pressure of having pictures done in your own home. We captured this sweet announcment session at Sween Shots Studio and just had the best time laughing, dancing, and enjoying the California bunglao-esque environment.

The Lumen Room

And finally, The Lumen Room. This studio space features mid-century modern furniture, large black framed windows, a white trim wall, and even a baby crib. The Lumen Room is the most industrial feeling of the these three newborn studio options. I’ve captured this beautiful maternity session there as well as several mini sessions this Summer!
