One of my most frequently asked questions is where are my favorite family photo locations in houston Texas? I have lots of favorite places to offer! These are my top picks when it comes to choosing the best location for your family photos in Houston, Texas.
First, Kingwood offers a few great parks with lots of green trees, open fields, and a lakeview. There is a mossy tree field, a nature trail that features tall grassy fields, and a lakeview park. Kingwood also features Light and Joy Studio which is a beautiful indoor studio perfect for super hot or rainy days.
Next in Houston I love the Arboretum Nature Trails and Buffalo Bayou Park. The nature trails feature seasonal flowers in bloom, family friendly walk paths, and lots of pretty greenery. Buffalo Bayou Park has some city landscape views, fountains, and open fields. The Lumen Room is a great studio option located in Houston. They offer mid-century modern style furniture for us to use during your session as well as beautiful large windows and blank canvas backdrops. These are truly some of the best family photo locations in Houston, Texas!
Finally in the Woodlands, my favorite go-to family photo session locations are Rob Fleming Park, WG Jones Park, and The Oak Atelier Studio. Rob Fleming Park features a beautiful manicured walking path around a pond with a fountain. WG Jones Park is popular for it’s whimsical looking forrest. And The Oak Atelier Studio is my very favorite high end studio. We have access to gorgeous antique furniture and have the choice between several unique rooms in the house, or the amazing glass house outside. They just opened a new outdoor room called the Rosewood as well. Many of my seasonal mini sessions are held here featuring their seasonal set ups. To see what minis are available now, click HERE.
