Maternity Session in Rob Fleming Park. If you landed here because you’re expecting a baby, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Pregnancy is such a beautiful, sweet season. But it certainly doesn’t always feel that way! Nevertheless, documenting this special time is definitely important. Maternity sessions are extra special and so full of anticipation! I am so thankful we still captured all three of our pregnancies even if I didn’t quite feel up to it. Even and especially the third time around, because there were more loved ones surrounding me ready to welcome our baby into the family.

So you’ve decided, “YES, I definitely want to book a maternity session!” But the question still remains, WHEN is the most ideal time to take maternity photos? When is the prime time for a maternity session? My suggestion is to schedule your maternity photo session between 35-38 weeks pregnant. By this point, you’ll have a beautiful belly worth showing off! If you are nervous about going into labor early, you can definitely book your session at any point you feel would be most appropriate for you.
THE BEST TIME TO HAVE YOUR MATERNITY SESSION IS BETWEEN 35-38 WEEKS
There are SO many gorgeous locations for maternity sessions around Humble, Spring, Houston, and The Woodlands! We can also use one of my favorite studios if that’s your preference. Or if you’re ideal time frame to have your session falls in one of the warmer months here in Texas and AC sounds appealing! Whether you’re looking for an open field, well manicured park, or mossy trees, I’ve got you covered!
After you book your maternity session with me we will start nailing down your ideal location. As always, please let me know as soon as possible that you’d like to get in my calendar for a session because I tend to book up quickly, especially during busier seasons. Maternity sessions are so special and sweet! Especially when you get to look back with your baby years later and tell them, “Look, that was you growing inside Mommy’s tummy!”
